Perfect Time Loop Explanation

Notice the differences between these 2 animated time loops? The one on the left resets in time while the one on the right doesn't. Candy Stripes stomps on a spider in the left animation & Sally B. Martin runs around a planetoid in the right animation.

P.S.: There's a special type of perfect time loop called a yo-yo that looks exactly the same whether it's played backwards or forwards! These 2 animations of Danielle Lipstick playing with her ballet flat shoes below are both perfect time loops; however, the one on the right is a yo-yo! Notice how she moves her prehensile feet in each animation! The animation on the right is actually just the beginning part of the entire movement sequence on the left! When things go back & forth in movies, they create these animated yo-yos that would look exactly the same if played backwards! Danielle's legs go back & forth in the right animation, creating a yo-yo!

There are Movie Math games in the Puzzles & Games Page where you'll see more yo-yos, but you need Flash software to play them. If you have a MAC, I suggest you get Elmedia Video Player!
