This is a copied version of the 1st scene of the animated episode: "Burning Behind". It was recycled especially for this puzzle. According to this animation, Calvin & Drake ran for 9.3 seconds from the beginning of the scene to when Calvin enters the cave to escape Drake. They both ran 40 miles per hour.
How long is the distance they ran from the beginning of the scene to when Calvin enters the cave? Remember that distance = speed × time.
Hint: There are 3,600 seconds in an hour since 1 hour = 60 minutes, & 60 seconds = 1 minute. So to convert miles per hour to miles per second, simply divide by 3,600. Finally, they are 5,280 feet in a mile. So to convert miles to feet, simply multiply by 5,280.
