I can imagine a parallel universe where women think snakes are cute! (Okay, maybe in this one, that just seems creepy, but it pays to be open-minded. Stereotypes are only partially true...) Anything is possible, but not everything. Some events are mutually exclusive. For example, you can't stay home & go out at the same time, and you can't go east & west at the same time! Those actions contradict each other; all contradictory actions are mutually exclusive.
There are also collectively exhaustive events, which encompass all possible outcomes. At least 1 of them must occur. Below is a time loop of a case in which Patience has no special opinion about either toy! Notice how she can't crush & pet at the same time!
Be very careful when you visit parallel universes because you might enter one where nobody thinks you're cute!
