Trigonometry Tricks 4

csc(90° - x) = sec x

sec(90° - x) = csc x

This is the reciprocal version of the 1st trigonometry trick!

Examples:

csc 75° = 1.035276...

sec 15° = 1.035276...

csc 45° = 1.414213...

sec 45° = 1.414213...

(Notice that the secant & cosecant of 45 degrees are exactly the same!) They are equal to the square root of 2 since the sine & cosine of 45 degrees are both equal to the square root of 1/2!

The secant is the reciprocal of the cosine & the cosecant is the reciprocal of the sine!
